2021年に音楽活動50周年を迎えた日本の音楽シーンの重要人物近田春夫氏と、OMB氏が手がけたTsuyoshi Suzukiの伝説のユニットPRANAの名曲GeomantikのRemixをMatsuri Digital Chillの９作目の作品としてリリース!!
OMB氏と近田春夫氏のコメントムービーの中で「Tsuyoshi Suzukiへの愛を込めて作った」と語られている2つの異なるスタイルのGeomantikのRemixを収めた本作品の1曲目はモダンで「大人のサイケデリックチューン」と言えようダンサブルなグルーヴが楽しめるGeomantik (LUNASUN, Haruo Chikada, OMB Remix)、2曲目はファンキーなブレイクビーツに生まれ変わったPrana – Geomantik (LUNASUN, Haruo Chikada, OMB Breaks Remix) を収録。マスタリングは、イスラエルのアーティストN.sof, Shidapuとして知られるRoy Sasonが手がけている。
90年代の原曲を知っているリスナーも、そうでないダンスミュージックファンにも届けたい2つのスタイルのGeomantik、チェックしてほしい！

Matsuri Digital Chill is pleased to announce their latest release, two remixes of Prana’s classic track Geomantik produced by the Japanese collaborative project Lunasun and mastered by Roy Sason of Zion 604.
The title track of Prana’s 2nd album released a quarter century ago, Geomantik has long been a favourite for its funky but psychedelic flavour. Japanese artists OMB and Haruo Chikada have renamed their Lunatic Thunder project Lunasun, and offer us here two funkadelic remixes of this classic tune.
The Modern 4 Beat Remix pulsates with a funky, groovy, hypnotic techy atmosphere while the more pared down Breakbeats Remix emphasizes rhythmic and percussive riffs for a totally spaced-out but earthy vibe.
Two brilliant reworkings of the same classic track, both of which will get you moving. Get ’em now!
